Nutra 2000 at Victoria Landing is seeking a
PART - TIME PERMANENT ACTIVITY ASSISTANT
Weekdays/Evenings/Weekends
Responsibilities
? Maintain effective communication with Health and Wellness Director
? Execute activity programs as directed by Health & Wellness Director
? Complete administrative duties
? Conduct outings with residents
? Encourage and promote participation
? Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience
Current CPR and First Aid Certification required, or must be willing to obtain upon hire
Current Class 4 Drivers License or must be willing to obtain upon hire
Skills & Abilities
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work and ability to remain calm in stressful situations and work well under pressure
Effective oral and written communication skills to respectfully and compassionately work with seniors and their families
Excellent observational skills and ability to determine urgency or reportable incidents
Able to work well with others and work under minimal supervision
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Personal
Strong aptitude towards the good health and safety of all residents, staff and visitors
Empathetic to and understanding of the specific needs of seniors
Must have a high degree of interpersonal skills
Other Expectations
A current and clear Criminal Records Check including Vulnerable Sector Search
