Full Job Description
Virden Mainline Motors is currently seeking a creative, organized, and motivated Marketing Manager to join our dealership team. This role is responsible for managing our day-to-day marketing efforts, maintaining our online presence, and supporting customer communication through CRM tools.
This position plays a key role in driving traffic, supporting sales and service initiatives, and ensuring a consistent and professional brand across all platforms. The ideal candidate is both creative and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and execute marketing campaigns effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Strategy
- Plan and execute monthly marketing initiatives in collaboration with management
- Promote manufacturer programs alongside in-house campaigns
- Maintain consistent branding across all platforms and both dealership locations
Social Media & Content Creation
- Manage all dealership social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
- Create and publish engaging content including posts, reels, and stories
- Monitor and respond to comments and messages
- Stay current with trends and optimize content for performance
Creative & Design
- Design marketing materials using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
- Produce graphics, promotional materials, and basic video content
- Utilize AI tools to support content creation and workflow efficiency
Inventory & Website Management
- Manage and maintain vehicle listings through the website backend
- Ensure accurate pricing, descriptions, and images
- Update website banners and promotional content
Promotions & Campaigns
- Plan and execute monthly promotions and campaigns
- Coordinate messaging across social media, website, and in-store
- Support third-party advertising efforts and boosted content
Customer Communication
- Manage SMS/text campaigns through Kimoby
- Support service department promotions and appointment-driving initiatives
CRM & Customer Experience Support
Customer Retention
- Support campaigns to re-engage past customers
- Assist with service reminders and trade-cycle outreach
Database Management
- Maintain clean and organized customer data
- Segment customer lists for targeted marketing efforts
Campaign Support
- Build targeted customer lists for campaigns
- Execute CRM-based outreach (text/email)
- Track basic engagement
Process Support
- Help maintain consistent customer communication processes
- Support coordination between marketing, sales, and service teams
Lead Awareness (Light Support)
- Maintain general awareness of incoming leads
- Flag any major gaps in lead handling to management
Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred
- Strong skills in content creation, design, and social media management
- Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign
- Comfortable using AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Valid driver?s license
