Painting Apprentice
Taggart Painting Ltd. is looking for a Painting Apprentice to join our team.
No previous painting experience is required?we?re looking for someone who?s reliable, hardworking, and motivated to learn a trade.
This position offers flexible hours based on current projects, with opportunities for additional hours as the company continues to grow.
What We?re Looking For
?CSA-approved safety boots
?Valid driver?s licence and reliable transportation
?Reliable, motivated, and willing to learn
?Ability to take direction and work well as part of a team
?Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
?Physically able to lift 50?75 lbs and perform tasks that involve bending, reaching, squatting, climbing, and repetitive movement
What You?ll Be Doing
? Assisting with residential and commercial painting projects
? Preparing work areas by masking, covering floors, and setting up equipment
? Patching, sanding, priming, and other surface preparation
? Assisting with painting walls, ceilings, trim, and other surfaces
? Keeping job sites clean, organized, and safe
?Moving materials and equipment as needed
?Following company safety procedures and supporting the crew throughout each project
