Scar and 4 of his littermates were surrendered into our care.
They are 6 months old and have lived outside their whole lives so there will be some adjustment to living indoors.
He is the reason for the Lion King theme names since he had a cut on his face when he arrived. It is healing well and is hardly noticeable now.
He is about 40 lbs right now and we guess he will maybe hit 70 when fully grown.
Mom looked like a Dutch Shepherd which is where the lovely brindle markings came from. As well as being smart and agile and can easily climb a 3 foot gate!
All of the puppies are super sweet and affectionate.
Scar is my favorite of the 3 I am fostering. He os a bit timid but he recovers very well. He even spent the day at work with me yesterday in the grooming salon and he was able to relax and nap.
The puppies are booked in for a vet check and vaccine appt on the 16th. He can be adopted before then and just be brought to the appt time. Cost will be covered by adoption fee.
Last picture is with his sister Shenzi, brother Rafiki and my Malinois.
They have seen my cats, but haven't been in close contact yet. He did say hi to one I was grooming yesterday and only seemed curious.
