Look no farther than the 2003 Ford Excursion Limited Edition, the family truck to end all family trucks. 3rd row seating that can comfortably fit 8 adult passengers? check. Automatic transmission? check. Practically unlimited cargo space? check. 4 wheel drive? check. Amazing heat in the winter, even in the back seats? check. With more than enough room inside the vehicle for a family of 7, luggage, and a kayak (Yes, we actually checked) while still having torque leftover to pull a trailer, the Excursion is the last truck you'll ever buy. This 2003 Ford Excursion has been exceptionally well maintained, the interior is immaculate, new rockers were just welded in (none of that slip on junk) exhaust manifolds needed to be replaced for safety, so we did the timing chain, spark plugs, water pump, transmission cooler and an oil change while we were in there anyways. Now this V10 is ready to go for it's next 23 years of service. Did we mention the reliability? In the 14 years of owning this truck, it has only ever failed to start once (kids leave the door open, batteries die from the lights being on, you know the drill), and the engine runs like it just drove off the dealership lot yesterday. Reason for selling? As much as I love the truck, I can't justify driving such a large vehicle just to ferry around 1 or 2 people. It's time for this truck to find a new family, maybe it will be yours? Looking for cash to re-coup the cost of parts and time I have into the safety, might be persuaded on a cash + trade, I'm interested in almost any kind of road going vehicle so feel free to shoot your shot (unless you have a quad, dirt bike, boat, or anything of the like. There's a reason I said "Road going vehicle") the worst I can say is no.
