Purchasing Assistant

Cancade Company Ltd. is seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to join our manufacturing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with purchasing materials, parts, and supplies.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up with suppliers.
- Obtain pricing, compare quotes, and track deliveries.
- Coordinate incoming shipments and assist with receiving materials.
- Verify packing slips against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate purchasing, receiving, and inventory records.
- Process and organize invoices, packing slips, and related paperwork.
- Work closely with production and management to ensure materials are available when needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities.
- Previous purchasing, receiving, or manufacturing experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
