    Nothing was biting on Pelican last I heard.. I don't think there's much fish in that lake to be honest. Fished it a lot years ago when my wife's parents lived in Ninette. Unfortunately the aerators didn't do much for it.

    This is fishing. Oak Lake is as good as your luck is. I have been there when it is hot and caught nothing. I have had it hot on others not. Pelican depends on who you talk with there is some nice fish coming out of the lake. Rivers, was there today for the Rivers Game and Fish kids day and caught 3 small perch. Fish are there. Just have to work for them.

    Fishing is very slow...  
    There are a lot of fish in the lake but they are elusive. There is so much natural feed for them (minnows and freshwater shrimp) that they are always full...hard to get them to bite...
