I am wanting to get my 3 yr old boy into an activity.. I know most sports start at 5-6. Is there any extra curricular activities that start at 3? I have an active boy whom I'm sure would have a blast!!

Soccer starts at 3, at least the low-cost league at Christian Heritage does (anyone can join). It runs for 6 weeks starting in the spring usually. The other leagues might also start at 3.  
 
There's a few programs at the Y that 3 year olds can join. You need to be a member to get in though because members can register first and they're usually filled up by the time non-members can register.  
 
Ninja Tots at Empower Boxing starts at age 4.

On brandon kids.com it says soccer eligibly is age 4 for Galaxy, Christian and BYSA thumbs down. Maybe next year

Gymnastics! Brandon Eagles Gymanastics was an awesome experience for my very active boy! Different activities/games and skill-building.  
 
Library Pre-school acivities! Contact the library for dates, times etc.  
 
Swimming lessons! At this time, only at the Y as the Sportsplex is closed for renovations. We take our son to the Souris outdoor pool(registration starts April 4th)for his swimming lessons and have since he was very small. It is amazing there.  
 
Preschool!! Two or three half days per week depending on the facility!  
 
Also try Brandonkids web site!

I'm thinking maybe gymnastics.. That sounds like fun. Do they have to be potty trained? I was also thinking hip hop at Steppin Time but not sure if they offer that class for preschoolers! Pre school won't work due to potty training and my shift schedule.

No, children come in diapers under their gym attire for gymnastics.  
 
And as far as soccer, BYSA has INDOOR soccer and it is THE BEST in winter!! Of course there is also outdoor come May, but we can't wait around to play soccer till May!

I would love to get him into soccer but unfortunately the website says it starts at age 4 thanks though I will look into gymnastics!

I would double check with bysa my daughter played at age 3. Steppin time time does tap/creative movement for 3-5 year olds. Other disciplines start at age 6.
