    When you get married, how do you update your last name to your married name instead of your maiden name? Can you do it yourself or do you have to go in person with the marriage certificate to get that done? Everything is registered under and updated to my married name such as bills, license, passport, etc.... but CRA still shows my maiden name when logging in.

    Sign in your CRA try following the steps

    How to update marital status with CRA?  
    Processing time: Immediate  
    Sign in to your CRA account.  
    Select the Individual panel to access My Account.  
    Select Profile.  
    Scroll to Marital status.  
    Select Edit.  
    Follow the steps to update your marital status.

    I tried all that and everything shows correctly as married to _______. It just still doesn't wanna change my maiden name. I might have to try in person again as nothing online is letting me do my last name myself.

    Over on Richmond Ave would likely be the place to go.  
     
    May also just be your sign in name will remain in former name but all your changes you made are showing in CRA account correctly.
