Has anyone been there this year? How is the condition of the sites? Any help would be appreciated

It is very sad to see what has become of it. The old pool is filled this year though so I have hope to see it back in its glory days.  
 
The city should have never washed their hands of it. It could be wonderful with the correct funding behind it. Maybe a few fund raising events would help to raise the needed funds for the owners. I know many many people who have very fond memories of Curran Park and would be willing to lend some support.

Many memories of Curran Park. Wish it was still functioning as it did back then. Great place to camp, swim, picnic and of course play ball. Would love to help restore to original condition if it would be possible!

Mark, Joan and family have done wonders to the place. Bathrooms are New and kept clean. Sites are being developed to add privacy. Despite the floods that they have endured they press on with improvement. Negative nannies can go camp somewhere else.

unfortunatately it'll never be as it once was.. the floods have pretty much sealed its fate.. thye citys contribution to this mess is simply the icing on the cake.. I've driven around it and checked it out.. then seen the rates.. yikes.. its a shame is all..

I would not camp there. No disrespect to the current owners, I believe they are trying but the floods have taken their toll. I found it just depressing.

I'm not sure changing the name to Turtle Crossing name ever stuck. Combined with flooding...so sad.  
 
Give them a ton of credit, but I'm not sure Curran Park will ever be revived.

The city has been no help at all.. As well as dealing with the floods.... they are dealing with the city deciding to double the taxes out there as well. This after running it it into the ground themselves.. Remember. .." Urine Park " ?? They let completely crumble then sold it off. They just added insult to injury with the taxes ! !
