Does anyone know what the condition of veterans way is this morning?

If you drive around 60 km/h you should be fine. I still have summer tires and made it through this morning.

If someone is coming into Brandon, is it better via #10 or via Rivers? If the #1 highway is closed, it's probably not advisable to come in via Rivers eh?

Since Hwy 2,10, and 1 are still closed I would say stay home

I think it goes without saying that if the highway is closed it's not to be traveled on. You will void insurance coverage and no emerg crew is coming for you. Unless your travel is "life threatening" (in which case you should be in the back of an ambulance) stay off the closed highways and avoid any travel on those that are not. If the highway crews do get out to plow this at least gives them a chance to do their job without having to worry about folks on roads.

I was told by a few who traveled no 10 north of the city that it is better than yesterday. Just have to watch for the drifts across the road

My husband went in to work for 10 this morning, and he said the low road was actually okay because it's just drifting across, but that the 340 is terrible and snow-covered.

Has anyone else noticed that the 511 is very slow with road updates. Number 10 has not been updated since like 7.  
Please does anyone have a better site to check?

With the roads being so bad would like to be the one to go test them out. Yes they haven been updated so I say to all the highway workers be safe

I traveled on the #16 to Minnedosa and then south to Brandon on the #10. It was GREAT winter driving the whole way until Forrest. From Forrest to Brandon was severe blowing snow and quite a lot of slippery spots.
