Vasectomy reversal info

Just looking for some info on vasectomy reversals. How much did it cost? Where was it done? Did it work? Obviously I know this is info I can get from a professional, that appointment has been made, just looking for personal experiences. Thanks!

Depends how long ago it was done. If it's just a few years, it'll likely work, but after 10 years, it's not so likely. When my husband went, they gave him the info just in case he ever wanted a reversal. I believe they said it costs $5000. I cannot remember for sure though as that was not important info for us. No way are we reversing it.

Don't do it. Mine was extremely painful for 7 days afterwards and in the end it didn't work anyways. Plus it was expensive.

Abstinence is a thing, maybe not the funnest thing. But I think it prevents you from walking cowboy for two weeks.

Cost was about $3000, that was 8 years ago. Recovery not bad, 3-4 days tender, couple weeks till all good. It worked. Done in Winnipeg, can’t remember dr. Keep receipt and claim on income tax.

My gf's husband had it done and she was pregnant within a year! Cute little baby boy!
Husband had the vasectomy about 8 years before he had a reversal.
He had 3 girls from a previous marriage.

This happened about 30 years ago in Winnipeg. Don't recall the Drs name. If they could reverse it back then, I'm sure now it's routine.
