This doesn't sound right to me that a walk-in clinic doctor diagnosed you that way. Did they do any tests of any sort or just ask questions? The symptoms of gastroparesis are similar if not identical to a number of other things so without seeing an actual gastroenterologist and having the necessary tests performed I wouldn't take their 'diagnosis' at face value. I have been misdiagnosed at a walk-in clinic before so my suggestion would be to see which doctors are taking on new patients and make an appointment to see them and request a referral. In the meantime I would also suggest avoiding the internet for info until you know for sure what you should be researching.
