Levels of Nursing ???

Can anyone explain the levels of nursing in the health care field. What are the responsibilities of each levels. I see they are negotiating a new contract again. Asking for more money again. Someone told me they already make $30+ / hr. Is this true??? Wow that's alot of $$$$$
