does anyone out there have any info on where "gastric bypass" operations can be done in Canada. It's do able in the states, Seattle Washington, to be exact but there's gotta be somewhere in Canada. The person I know can have it done as mentioned in the US and paid for by their prov. health dollars . I fine it extremely hard to believe it is not available in our country. I mean really!! I heard a couple women (from Brandon)who it done somewhere in Sask. but it seems that is no longer an option in that prov. Honestly in all of Canada there's got to be somewhere.I'm not interested in hearing all the flack about the causes of obesity that's a given but it's a done deal, whatever the cause. This is a real plea for some info.after the fact.
