Of course you still eat. But you do have to eat healthier foods. I usually go for non processed, unrefined foods. No fried foods, no caffeine, no cow dairy and no red meat. No gluten, no corn and no peanuts. For various reasons, but mostly thses are foods that are harder for the body to digest and you will be much happier with your detox and results if you avoid thse foods.
Lots of veggies and limited starchy carbohydrates. Protien is important, so have a few eggs for breakfast, a chicken stir-fry for dinner, or salmon and greens.
Snack on friuts or veggies if you get the munchies.
Make a mixed bean salad with avocado, salsa and fresh cilantro for lunch. It really isn't hard or any sacrifice. Just step outside your comfort zone.
There are lots of recipes you can try available on the internet. If nothing else, veiw it as a great exploration of different foods and recipes. Lol.
I should also note: you may have a headache for the first week of detoxing because your body is getting rid of toxins. This is normal. Swallow an advil and get on with you day. By the end of week two you will feel great (even when you first wake up). Your moods will balance out and you will just feel better overall. By the end of week three, you will start to see a big physical difference in your skin and hair.
