So we have been looking online and haven't really found anything available in Brandon. The wife has started a crappy line job and its getting hard on her back. Has anyone seen a decent support belt for sale in Brandon? Looking to purchase something today as its not getting much better. Thanks for any input.

They may not be open today, but it is worth checking, they have lots of health items for people and a knowledgeable staff. You could also try a site like Amazon for an Obus form back support for women

seems like Walmart carries some Obus items - not sure what you are needing - try getting a kidney belt at the motorcycle shops -

I would also make a physio apt to get some exercises to strengthen her back/abdominal muscles to help with prevention of the pain.

Shoppers Drug Mart usually has a section of these types of supports as well.

I would also consult with physio. I've been told by Physio that back braces used in the wrong situation can make the core muscles weaker therefore making the situation worse.  
 
I would advise consulting with physiotherapist about exercises that target core muscles to strengthen them. Then talk about body mechanics and how to improve your work space to make it easier on your back (eg a foot stool to raise your one foot helping to support your lower back). In this day and age your employer should be providing you with the tools to improve your workplace. If not consult with Workplace Health and SAfety.

She is already doing core exercises. Just doing a shit job to help out. The brace is just for work, she is tall and the belt line she works on is built for midgets. If I have it my way, work will pick up and she can just stop doing it, but for now we need the work.
