Although I have had back problems (herniated disc) I have alway been interested in this idea. The one concern I have with the idea is that if a person does not know where the actuall bulge is could one put extra strain on the area.
In my case the arching of my back, as in a big stretch, would cause immediate Charlie horses in my calf as well as along the side of my foot, as well as along the bottom of by foot, and by standing up straight would make them go away almost immediately.
