I had my hair coloured a week ago. I'm really bad with confrontation, and I don't like it.  
 
I have naturally brown hair (between medium and dark brown) and had asked for a colour that was quite bright. I'll put up the picture after I post this question.  
 
While the colour she gave me was nice, it was nowhere near the colour I wanted. It's a plum colour and I wanted purple. This isn't the first time she's had an issue meeting a hair colour expectation.  
 
Now, I understand that not all hair types and such can support whatever style or colour we might want to have. However, I asked her specifically if this colour was doable with my natural hair and she said yes, then didn't. No explanation given either.  
 
So I'm looking for a recommendation from someone for a hair stylist who is really good with colour.

at Vivid Salon on 18th and McTavish is a Goldwell Colour Master (which means she teaches other stylists how to colour) so if she can't help you, I don't know who can.

Sarah rankin at hair today in the shoppers mall is a master colorist and was an instructor at crocus for the 2016/2017 yr. Awesome work to say the least !

I also suggest Kristen Spence at Vivid...excellent colourist.

If you have already paid I would be inclined to phone (I'm better on the phone than in person and just ask if she would re-do it as it's not what you were expecting).
