My doctor suggested that I likely have mild OR, I was getting chalazions regularly. I never found any relief with heat pads or soaps. What has worked for me though is using Systane Ultra eye drops. If you have a Costco membership it's way cheaper to buy it there than anywhere else. You can find it just about anywhere though.
