I have a 17 month old boy who needs his first hair cut.

for some reason young kids can freak out at the first few haircuts, been there done that.  
 
in hind sight if I was doing it again I would cut a few locks off the kid at home first so he gets used to it or take him down to the barber of choice and let him just watch for a few minutes or he can watch his dad get a cut.  
 
once he sees that it is no big deal then book the appt.  
 
Try Black Orchid in the town center, bev is really good.

Esquire hands down! We had taken our toddler boy to a couple different hair dressers and his hair was butchered. Took him to esquire barbers and they are amazing! So good with the kids and looks amazing.

Wouldn’t recommend the ones mentioned in Winnipeg.

I love cutting my kids hair! I'm not very good at it but I am learning. Washing it in the kitchen sink, the talking that happens, the 1 on 1 bonding time that get takes place (which is always hard in our busy lives), plus I save money... I hope I can do my kids hair many years into the future and have them look back and smile at the memories, as I do about my mom doing my hair I treasure these moments, plus I'm gaining some hair dressing skills! Lol

When I was a kid the popular thing seemed to be a bowl... ha try that.

The crew at Esquire are great with kids and there is so much to see.

I recommend the ladies at Hairistocracy. But before you go, give each other pretend hair cuts with imaginary scissors to help your kid learn what to expect. If you're going for a short cut, mimic the buzz and vibration of a shaver on your kid's neck. You can also watch YouTube videos of kids getting haircuts. They'll probably still squirm a bit, but it will be more familiar and less scary for them.

My 18 month old daughter got her first haircut at Regis. She did awesome, she sat still great for her age. I don't remember who cut her hair, I just asked to be booked with someone who has the most experience with young kids. She was very nice.

Are way off topic here and I do apologize Adam, but have to answer. Like I said earlier you can take what you want from my earlier link and you'll probably find substance for your argument. Fishing guy, please understand that paras and comments referring to cannabis not affecting driving ability by users never mentions the amount of mj that drivers injested before undergoing further exams. It nay well be that all tests were performed after individuals had injested the equivalent of perhaps 1 joint. Who knows for sure because they don't specify, it's all pretty vague! My argument is that you could expose an individual that is a routine drinker to "one" beer and have him do the exact same test as the mj exposed individual did. Theoreticaly he would be under the influence and still pass all tests with flying colours and the results would be announced as "Alcool impaired" individual showed no signs of driving limitations or hazards. This is what I feel that the MJ induced driving tests reveal. No real limitations when impaired. What is impaired though? One, two or three joints worth of mj? If the tests were conducted with only one joint consumed then yes I agree that mj is not an issue on the road. However, I'd like to see results were mj users have consumed 2 to 3 grams and ask to undergo a driving test. Would drivers be able to adjust their driving as my earlier linkn would indicate or would they be a hazard to all other drivers on the roads. One thing for sure though is that the more you injest, the more your congnitive abilities suffer. How much is too much? Not sur!
