We have a daughter that is just about 16 and has recently been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. She has struggled for most of her school years with making friends, being accepted and basically just being and feeling "normal" Does anyone know of any support groups for this type of thing? We feel that if she could talk with other that deal with the same or similar issues she might benefit and realize she isn't alone. She has been in counseling for a number of years and did spend some time in Child and adolescence center -but she was younger and was more frightened than anything by that - it was also previous to her Bipolar diagnosis.

In the Town Center - they have lots of groups and activities and will send out a monthly calender of what they plan. Skating, swimming, walking, daily trips, etc. 578-2400
