Is there hope for a non-violent society?  
 
My eldest son is attending university in Toronto and was mugged Saturday night for the measley 20$ in his pocket. He required staples to a gash on his head and stitches on his forehead....the result of brass knuckles!  
 
Truly fortunate, the altercation did not result in further injury as a knife was drawn. I'm holding my breath thinking how fortunate this is!  
 
I can NOT understand where one feels entitlement to another's possession and will use violence to obtain that possession.  
 
I raised my children to be peaceful beings in a sometimes chaotic world.  
 
Tonight when you tuck your little ones in to bed, or time spent with your grown children, please send a message of peace toward others.  
 
There's no room for violence.
