Rockin' the Fields of Minnedosa will be live streaming the initial round of artists to perform this year on their Facebook page.

This is the 15th. anniversary of RFM and it promises to have some changes, it's going to be a big one!

Always a great time cant wait to see what bands they are bringing for this year!!!!

Looking forward to seeing all of the bands announced actually. Top two so far would be Headstones and Burton Cummings

has indeed only been here for 15 years.  
 
Classic Rock Weekend ran from 1996-2000. After that, Little River Rockfest ran from 2001-2003 before it too went under and now RFM which is a co-op and volunteer based from 2004-present. I won't go into details on how the first two folded but this is run way better.

I honestly didn't realize that Burton Cummings was still alive. He must live in the U.S.

Guess you dont follow local iconic rock and roll stars. Like most retired or semi retired Canadians he winters in the USA and summers in Winnipeg and area.

Rockin' the Fields of Minnedosa will be announcing some additional bands May 10 around 8:00.

No offence live bands are a good thing but Trooper, Chilliwack and Kim Mitchell have all played Minnedosa many times. For my money I would like to see some different choices. Headstones and Three Days Grace are good choices but I heard that Headsones aren’t coming now. Please correct me if you know different . Not a big fan of Burton Cummings but maybe a lot of people are. Big Wreck was energizing last year and I know there are many other young Canadian bands out there but I suppose scheduling and of course money will dictate the band quality . Probably won’t go this year.

The latest additions to the 2018 classic rock line-up are Headpins, Honeymoon Suite, Helix and Buckcherry.

We go for the atmosphere. We always buy our tickets right after the festival so we are committed regardless lol. There is no pleasing everyone, that said I have always enjoyed the music and the fantastic company we camp with.  
 
That being said if anyone wants to toss out some hair ideas I am all ears. I will be redoing the lizard one of these years. Funny how I spend a bunch of money for something like a pineapple haircut on my head lol.

This will be a sad year. Many will be missing Sue Law. She and Gil have attended since the beginning.  
 
Sue was on the board for a few years.  
 
Have a drink for Sue!  
Maybe bring a hummingbird decoration in her honor.  
Have a moment of remembrance for Sue's wonderful friendly amazing outgoing spirit.

There is now a Prairie Coach bus going to and from the show each day, $10 per person each way. Travel in style and don't worry about having a couple of cool ones.  
 
Leaves Brandon at 6 Friday, at 4 Saturday and Sunday.  
 
Pick up and drop off in Brandon in the south parking lot, Keystone Centre.  
 
Leaves the concert bowl 45 minutes after the headliner finishes their show.

The bus is a good idea. I still think they would get way more people if they dropped the day passes to $65. I'm happy to go see Three Days Grace & Buckcherry on Sat.
