What got you interested in weather?

Seems that a lot of us are "addicted" to the weather. Either at a hobby level or something a bit more serious. Was it something you were always interested in or did you take a filler course and really begin to like and appreciate it? Maybe was it that amazing well liked TV meteorologist or Weather guy/gal that taught you to enjoys it?
My "interest" mainly involves my job. I stare at numbers and charts throughout the day. Nav Canada, Environment Canada and The Weather Network have become my most visited sites (sorry Adam). Making go no go decisions for training and students becomes a frustrating part of my day when all three weather providers cannot even agree on anything.... sometimes not even close.
