I don't see any updates for a few highways on the mb highways map I tried to traverse today so i figured i might give a quick update on my travels to those planning on heading out.  
 
Highway 2 from #10 to cypress river was ok a few hours ago, some snow cover and blowing snow but cypress river to holland was snow covered shoulder to shoulder with occasional whiteouts when meeting traffic especially semi's.  
 
I decided to around and go home at holland and took #34 up to #1 and the whole way was snow from shoulder to shoulder.  
 
Hwy 1 from austin to douglas was ok, some snow pack and the odd icy spot, douglas to brandon seemed to be a lot more icy.  
 
Maybe I'm just too careful but i think the full snow covered areas of #2 and #34 should be closed or at least travel not advised.

I visited my parents on highway 34 yesterday for Christmas and the way there I went 70 and the way home I went between 50 and 60 km/h. It was absolutely brutal (and scary) because it was all soft snow and meeting traffic was atrocious because I had to jam on the brakes and then move to a new path on the right (drove in the middle most of the way, where the other tracks were). For someone that is not used to driving on snowy highways in the winter (I avoid drives like that normally), it was not fun. An hour ride on a good day took me almost an hour and 45 minutes yesterday. #1 to Brandon wasn’t great either, I was going 80 or  
90 most of the way because of drifts, ice and ruts.
