Snowy Sunday: Snowfall warning
1/27/2019 at 6:42 AM
From Environment Canada and summarized in the buzz post that I've attached, 10-15cm of snow is supposed to fall between this morning and tonight in Brandon and for a good chunk of Southwest MB.
Supposed to be lighter/fluffier stuff. Have seen some folks float more gaudy accumulation numbers, from what I gather a little bit of uncertainty with just how light and fluffy because of uncertainty with water to snow ratio. When in doubt I tend to go with meteorologists and I see that the weather service stateside is giving similar numbers to what Environment Canada is saying here (predicting top out at 6 inches aka 15 cm in parts of North Dakota...

Feel free to use this thread to share what you're seeing. I'll add a post or many over the day if anything of interest or use strikes me!
