Not much of a light show, but the rain!! Guess there was that one flash over the city. Formed and intensified fairly quickly.

Be careful on the streets with all the water in the driving lanes

I was watching the storm form up and move eastward, would be interesting to know some of the rainfall amounts to the west of Brandon in the Alexander area.

Out here, we got nothing. Saw the storm to the south, heard the thunder, but that’s all.

Big crack of thunder shook the house and threw dog’s night off. Though you’d swear it was in my own backyard, best I can tell from the lightning map site is it was in the Grand Valley/Turtle Crossing Area?

Nice timing for a good soaking, just did a fertilizer spread before supper! I’ve got 7.7mm today so far in West end, 7mm at South end. Between this and the 30mm on the weekend, then the heat coming this week me thinks vampire season is only a week or two behind.

We got about 1/2 inch and some pea sized hail here in Riverheights.

On a side note, a very wet skunk just scooted past my front window, scoped out my yard, and ran across the street to the neighbours.

Yay! It was very close lightning and thunder for a short while in the southwest corner of the city.. small hail and downpour for a few minutes. The yellow sky was eerie for a bit.

near Alexander when it first started to cross the Trans-Canada. The area where it was raining and where it wasn't was really defined. Pouring rain, then move 10' and it's dry. Watching it form on RadarScope was quite amazing. And watching the animation of it going over Brandon, the heavy rain stayed west of 1st.

We saw a close bolt of lightning and felt the boom right by Neelin high school as we drove past. I haven't felt one that strong in years. You could feel it right through. Very exciting! We need more...
