Riverheights drive.
Power flickered 2 or 3 times but never lost water. Thats weird.

Trees, branches

Trees and branches down all over the place. Something a little extra seemed to have happened at the Keystone... at one spot there are 3 or 4 trees and branches all down in one spot (see pic).

Hydro outages map now showing over 4200 in Brandon and other 1700+ in Cornwallis.

that was an insane amount of wind that happened during that storm, worst wind i have witnessed in town (even worse than the wind we had a few months ago!)

Any way to find out what the gusts were? The weather netwotk app said gusting at 36km while it was happening, but i am gurssing it was a whole lot more than that lol

We lost power

Lost power in southern area of town. Lost it at 7pm and restored at 11:30pm good job hydro!

Lots of trees down

I was just out for a bit this morning. There are a lot of spots where trees and large branches are down. Last night there was a Hydro line down in the back lane a block from our place. Dangerous fireworks!!

Hydro down to the last 20 customers! Thank you for all of the hard work!!
#mboutage We're down to the last 20 customers without power in Brandon from yesterday's storm. Aside from any customers that need an electrician to repair damage on their property, we expect to have everyone restored by 6 p.m.

We had just under 3" just outside of Shilo. But this is the kind of storm that the rainfall will vary widely depending on your location.
