Just curious, is there a shelter for the homeless to go to so they aren't out in this crazy cold? I also was thinking is there some where to get blankets or something so the ones who can't get into a shelter can at least be warmer? I know there is covid concerns etc but can't the mb govt make a exception with the homeless and let them all into a shelter (if there is one here) so no one freezes to death? I should've thought of this post sooner, sorry.

In Brandon, there is the Safe and Warm Shelter, through Samaritan House:  
 
Safe & Warm Shelter  
The Safe & Warm Shelter is a 13-bed emergency shelter designated for adults (18+) who experience occasional homelessness. The shelter is fully staffed with trained support workers and security guards who ensure safety and assistance for clients. The Shelter is open from November to April however in 2020 we were able to keep the shelter open all year long due to extra funding and support. The shelter is currently open nightly from 7:00 pm to 8:00 am (winter hours 2020/21).

for that info. So with this shelter is there enough room for all the homeless? Is there places for them to go to during the day, no one should be out in this cold.
