Nice of it to wait until Christmas had come and gone… from the weather warning just issued at the link below it looks like a significant snowfall event gets underway Sunday afternoon and continues into Monday. Warning text says about 10-20cm:

Weather Network has Brandon itself just inside the corner of an area that could see as much as 30cm by the time all’s said and done:

Winds are expected to be 30 gusting 50, which would be just below the official definition of a blizzard (winds at 40 for 6 hours or more)

Minus 30… and then on the other end we get into what I imagine will be labelled Extreme Cold with overnight lows for the rest of 2021 touching minus 30 or lower before even getting into windchill:

Haven’t ventured outside yet. Hard to tell how much snow has fallen versus amount drifting.

Definitely enough to need to plow.

Highway site shows roads (mostly black) open. Anyone traveling should wait for daylight and allow for delay.

Every farmer is smiling. Not enough moisture but it is still good start.

Please do not travel outside of Brandon today or tomorrow. Roads in Brandon are horrible, and highways are even worse.

Avoid travelling for your safety!

You've gotta be insane to try and travel to Dauphin today lmao. Manitoba 511 has cameras on the highways and all of them look awful.
