@ Foxwarren, we have likely about 5" or close to 13 cm on the ground.
Checked highway 16 out,very slick,packed slippery now and still coming down hard.
Big trucks are having to pull over and clean their windshields as they are icing up.
Do not travel unless you must

Roads were really slippery down Hwy #10 south of Brandon, about an hour and a half ago.

Weather warnings have been updated to snowfall warnings north of the Trans Canada with 10-15 expected there, 5 cm expected south including Brandon.

Has anyone driven along Hwy1 from Virden to Brandon this evening? Wonder how the condition is to drive tomorrow morning or what time will the hwy be plowed?

Virden to Oak Lake was quite icy last night. Hoping the salt trucks are out early. Highway map hasn't been updated since yesterday afternoon

They are updated now. Ice covered to Virden. Also ice covered on Hwy 1a. Called 511 and the report says the same. Better not drive if you don't have to.
