Noticed that there was a big difference between rainfall amounts at the South Brandon rain gauge site (15mm) and West Brandon (8.2mm) with yesterday's storm between 4 and 5pm.
Environment Canada is showing 6.4mm at the airport (assume they use a different system but gives a rough idea for comparisons sake).

I believe in the difference, South had an absolute torrential downpour. Curious what anyone with a personal gauge would've picked up elsewhere?

We caught a few thunderstorms yesterday afternoon and ended up with 27mm, so about 1.1 inches, saw a few pictures out of the town that showed fair bit of hail. This upcoming week may become interesting with temperatures in the thirties and adequate moisture to create storms, didn't check what the humidex is going to be, extreme humidex levels do make severe storms more of a possibility.

My rain gauge in Riverheights had just shy of 1/2 inch - about 12 mm.

Cardale, about 45 minutes NW of Brandon was 1/2 inch
