I'm curious what interest is there?? We are looking at attending the summer fair as an exhibitor and we're curious if there's enough of an interest in Oracle reading?  
Would you be willing to pay $40 for a 4 card reading? $30?? $20??  
Feedback would be appreciated.

I am not sure of the different types of reading cards.  
 
I just had a 40 min (over the phone) Tarot card reading involving more then 10 cards.  
 
The cost of these sessions is $40.00 each.  
He may have told me he does 30 to 50 sessions a month.  
 
So based on this tarot reader's price:  
one way to look at it is a dollar a min.  
another way is $4.00 a card maybe.

I used to install Moneris machines, and I did an upgrade at a local whatever you call that kind of stuff place. I couldn't believe the volume of people coming in to buy blue rocks because they help them focus or green rocks because they ward away bad vibes...packs of tarot cards...I was speechless. There are a lot of people who would likely take you up. I'd have a $5 or $10 option in there for casuals, $40 is a bit pricey but I'd keep it as an option for the believers. I think a lot of people would do it to try it at $5 or $10.

If you were at the summer fair, I'd have no issue giving 20-25$ for a tarot reading. I'd be so happy! But, make sure it's affordable enough that people can do it! Because everything there is crazy overpriced.

For the fair we are planning to do a draw for two grand prize winners that will win a one hour reading for free. And at the fair we will be charging $20 for the 4 card spread.  
What we thought was crazy is people are charging over $80 for a 15 min reading! So we wanted to make it affordable for people to get their cards read.  
We are just curious if there is enough of an interest to do so....

Most of these stores are called either Occult or Metaphysical stores. LOL.  
Eventually I'd love to expand enough to be able to have a store front!

There are millions of tarot spreads. Celtic Cross, past/present/future, past/present/future/distant future, business, love, career, spiritual, yes/no, past lives, year of the wheel, etc.  
And all of these spreads can involve one card or up to 20 cards pulled. Some readers will pull the entire deck of cards (usually that's 72 cards).  
Pulling 72 cards to me is redundant as you can usually get your answer within the first 10 cards, and the extra cards pulled (if any) are more for clarity. But this is just how I read cards. There are no right or wrong ways overall.  
 
Also, when I pull cards, sometimes (and I can't control it) your loved ones that have crossed over will come and give you a message. This is called mediumship readings. And some mediums start their rates at $250 for a single reading because it takes a lot of energy, but they also have staff to pay, rent, hydro, phone, etc. So as with any business, these costs have to be figured into pricing.  
 
Considering we are just starting out, and many businesses in Brandon of this sort have fallen to the wayside, we do want to make this affordable, but at the same time not "screw" ourselves either.  
Hopefully that makes sense.

We both live in Brandon, but we do travel within half an hour of Brandon, anything over that, we do a telephone or skype reading and also, email you the messages of that reading as well.
