Hello folks. I’ve just relocated to Brandon from BC. Wondering whether anyone has recommendations for best service and pricing for both internet and cell service here. Thanks a bunch!

I'd suggest hitting up the wirelesswave store in the shoppers mall, they deal with both services and I have only had fantastic experiences with them! The rep I go through is named Pascal and he's been a treat.

In my experience, Westman, our local provider, has offered consistently good customer service over the years. I understand that experiences can vary from person to person, but I’ve personally been very satisfied with them. They also offer TV and home phone bundles if you're in need of those services. I can’t provide a recommendation for mobile service. I’m currently with Rogers, and if I were offered a better deal somewhere else, I’d jump ship in a heartbeat. Their customer service tends to involve long wait times when you actually need support, which has been frustrating. In terms of cell reception around Brandon and the Westman area, it has been fine and has improved over the years. However, I can’t say I would recommend Rogers over another provider.

For Internet, I'll take Westman any day of the week. Rarely ever had an issue and if there was an issue, it was fixed fairly quick.  
 
We no longer use a landline or cable TV but both were with Westman. It was nothing special, but it worked. If I had to get either again, I would go with Westman I think.  
 
For cell phones, we go with Telus / Koodo / Public. I can't remember the last time I had issues or bad cell service or reception., and that's over Western Canada and Northern states. I will add that we always "bring our own devices" and never use them to get a new phone.  
 
Everyone will have their own bias. I'm partial to Westman cause it's always worked and it's local. If Bell was the only option available, I would go without. That's just me though. The next person will be completely opposite.

For cell service I really like Wireless Wave in the mall. They compare all providers, current specials and get you the best pricing. For internet Westman Communications (local company) or Bell. This is only my opinion but I find where you live/lines in your house depend on best service. Where we used to live Westman works best, where we currently live Bell works best. (we tried both multiple times in both locations). Westman does have better customer service so I probably would start there.
