Telus is expanding coverage in Manitoba

Telus is putting up some towers in the Steinbach area, to directly compete against MTS. MTS doesnt allow Telus customers to use data on their network (internet), while Telus doesn't allow the same thing on their network in BC/Alberta. It could be not long until Telus sets up towers in the Westman area, and since MTS is refusing to play fair, if Telus expands native coverage outside Winnipeg, MTS is royally screwed for roaming in the west, there have been rumours that if Steinbach gets Telus coverage (either than Mike coverage), MTS may shut off their network completely to Telus customers, but if Telus has a network of their own here, Telus can do the same thing and it would mean that bye bye MTS phone while visiting family/friends out west, but who knows if it could possibly that extreme. But supposedly text messaging was even disabled by MTS for Telus customers until recently
I wonder how long until Telus will come to Brandon, if they do
