mts cellphones

I'm heading out to get a new mts cellphone soon, and am looking for peoples responses to whats good and whats bad..........I'm looking for something with good battery life, good reception( I'm in rural area's a fair bit) and something that can take a bit of a beating. I'm a little ruff on my phones.
So what's everyone using and what do you think of it?
