I have a trip to Las Vegas coming up and my current cell phone is an Evolve prepaid plan. I know it won't work across the border so I asked a few people and someone said to buy a cheap phone in Vegas and use it to call home. Has anyone tried this before? Does it work well? How hard is it to get a phone down there? They suggested this when I said I was going to change plans because they said the roaming charges on a Canadian phone would be high and it would be cheaper to use a U.S phone? Anyone have any advice on this topic it would be greatly appreciated!!
