Well another Shell will be closing it's doors in a few days!  
 
Shell on Vic and 1st will be closing Feb 26th!

Anybody know if the place is changing hands, the company can't find an operator for the outlet, or why the outlet is closing? The Shell on 18th was purchased for the land for the new hotel to be constructed, is this location also earmarked for other development?

What I know if that the owner owns other gas stations, and no employee will loose their jobs due to the closing.  
 
Don't think the 18th street shell was bought out by the hotel that is to be constructed. That parcel of land has no connection to Holiday Inn, because it is too far apart from the original plans.  
 
Unless i'm wrong... and now their thinking of buying other properties around the proposed hotel.

I can see it closing...leased property, no room for expansion. The store looked bare the past few months.  
 
It has never been the same since Glen, Bruce, Deb, and Monica left a few years back. Service and atmosphere was second to none back then.
