Need a good size roasting chicken any recommendations?

Superstore had chickens on but they were small at four lbs, Walmart had some on for I think $2.50 a lb, they were over the four lbs. but not like a six pounder, if you just wanted a bird to roast, walmart had $10 turkey's which weren't that big. I think there was an add on the classifieds that did have roasting chickens, was a few days back.

We always find good sized roasters.

Henry Meats just advertised a *Spring Special* on their public Facebook Page (search for Henry Meats Brandon).  
 
Large roasting chickens are on for $2.49/lb (or $5.49 kg).  
 
For anyone looking for Lamb, they are also taking Easter lamb orders.  
 
If you've never been to Henry Meats, they are a local butcher shop not far away with really nice meat and poultry (and also specialize in British cuts of meat, sausages, pastries plus they carry select UK products). They also carry lots of freezer items such as Pork Pies, Meat Pasties and so much more.

Glad to see others putting in their suggestions, we've become turkey fans and do know that very seldom do you see roasting chickens advertised in the larger stores.

Henry Meats. As someone else mentioned, they are running a special on roasting chickens at the moment and have a great selection to choose from of other products too. Prices are fair, meat quality is excellent and they are definitely worth the 10 min drive.  
I also recommend their pork chops (good flavor and tender), their pork apple burgers and their chicken strips.
