Is there a business in town that sells fridges for the kitchen, which will deliver the new one, and take away the old one at the same time?

Hydro will pay you to take away an old fridge
Most retailers will take away the old one for free. If they wont, I'd find another store.
Re-Store came and picked up mine for free for reuse.

Wesman Salvage also pays cash for old appliances including fridges. You'd have to give them a shout to confirm what they take, how much they pay and how you'd get it to them. If you learn more please feel free to share in case someone else is reading this thread in the future looking for the same answer!

We have purchased fridges from DuFresne furniture and they will deliver the new one and remove the old one at the same time. Can't remember if there was a charge for delivery or not though.

You can go to the City of Brandon Maintenance office on Richmond.

Pay for a ticket (I think it was around $6)

Get your item to wherever your garbage pick-up is, with the ticket on it. Call the number on the ticket and tell the city it is ready and they will come pick it up.

They deliver for free and take away any old furniture or appliances for free too.

Hydro pays $50

If your fridge is still working hydro will take it away and pay you $50. You just call the number and make arrangements. It does have to be still working though.
