I had a package to be delivered by canpar. It was suppose to be delivered on the 8th but they said it was undeliverable. After many phone calls I got ahold of them and they said that they have held the parcel at the courier but they didn’t know the address of the courier or even who the courier was. They would get back to me when the courier returned the call to them. Does anyone have any idea where the canpar courier is located or who it might be? Frustrated.

Presumably it is something you have ordered, maybe contact the sender and explain the situation.

I have contacted canpar twice and have had to stay on hold for over an hour both times to talk to a human. They are telling me it is held at the courier and they have no idea who the courier is in Brandon, or where they are located. They are waiting on the courier to return their call to let them know where I can pick it up. Would rather try and contact the courier directly if I can. With limited office staff who knows when someone will return their call. It was a parcel from air miles.

I had a total sh!t show with them. Same thing happened, couldn’t track down the office. Finally got an address, went there and it was an empty building saying “we have moved” I called again and the dude on the phone was extremely rude and kept giving the same address I was standing outside of !! I ended up making them re deliver it that day to my home address. Good luck /:

Thanks for letting me know that. I live in the country so getting something delivered is always an issue even though I live right on a major highway. Maybe I will see if I can get it delivered to a friend who lives in the city. I am trying to use up my air miles cause who knows if they will survive this economic disaster.

So I called canpar, again they can’t tell me where my parcel is in Brandon for pick up. They will get back to me when they figure it out. And no I can’t change the delivery address it is too late. Do I recommend canpar? Definitely not.

I could swear canpar in the past used one of the courier companies in town, maybe MNC or Rush ?

I found I could most of the time just use Canada Post. I find Can Par not that convenient. But some companies won’t ship to a box number. Was this what happened for you. Last time I used Can par it was behind the liquor mart at Canadian Tire. I think 13 th St. I ordered shoes last month from DSW and they won’t ship to a box number. Many emails back and forth with me explaining how Canada post works with parcels to a box number. They said sorry but the issue was With Canada Post. I can’t believe that as I get parcels all the time from other companies. Large and small. If it is too big they leave me a parcel card and I go get it. Some companies don’t seem to recognize that a lot of Canada is rural. If I don’t have a street address what am I to do. I tried using the post office street number but was told they don’t like that.

He is at the dock at 1601 Moreland Ave. There is a truck repair shop to the west of it and Full Tilt Towing to the east of it.

I literally drove in circles in and out of business yards on 18th street north looking for the depot. I know it was to the north of Peterbilt in a building stuck between other businesses. There was a tiny hand written sign up some sketchy wooden stairs. Good luck!

that doesn't know who their couriers are? Even if it's sub-contracted, they should know exactly where their customers parcels are going. That just sounds fishy!!

Googling 1601 Moreland brings up at least three freight/delivery companies.  
Weird delivery firm if they don't know who they gave a parcel to or where they are based. Think Canpar are telling porkies.  
When you finally get your package I'd suggest contacting the sender and explain the problems. Not that they will probably change anything but you never know.

They are a courier for canpar, DHL and Loomis.  
 
Crazy how hard that was to find out. They had my phone number could have called me.  
 
If you can avoid canpar please do. What a disaster. You would hope they’d know who their courier depot was,

dumbfounded that Canpar didn't know where there Brandon location was. Or didn't want to say where they are in Brandon.

Canada post and purolator have always been so easy and convenient, ups, fedex, canpar, etc have always been kind of a pain if I'm being honest.  
 
It sounds like fedex recently opened a pickup depot in town, I think it's out by coop cardlock near 17th st east, sending ups was always easier than receiving for me, the ups store on 18th at least accepted packages for shipping out but I could never figure out why they weren't a pickup location, seems odd.  
 
Canpar and dhl always seemed to be the most frustrating, but I haven't dealt with them for a couple of years, hopefully its better now.  
 
I kind of miss greyhound, they had their issues like any other company, sometimes they had weird hours, might be open for an hour then closed for 4 then open again for 30 minutes then closed again lol.  
 
And being told package was shipped next bus out from winnipeg but doesn't show up until 2 or 3 days later was frustrating at times, but when it worked it worked great.
