that at the Walmart site, you need to choose your store near the top of the screen. /I believe you put in your postal code and they ask you if your local store if the Walmart in Brandon and when you confirm, that is where your order is processed.

Select pick up in store and chose your store. You'll get an email with order then go pick it up.

Many of the small local stores are on Facebook and have been adding pictures of their stock. You can browse on there and then just message or call them and pickup curbside. From my own experience, Funtime pottery/loonie twoons/the little shoppe/direct wholesale/Victoria mini mart/Courtney’s cakes have all been great!  
 
I did do some at Walmart and I was able to pickup almost everything up curbside except one item is being shipped to the house and it didn’t give me the option to do curbside. I believe because it’s from a different company and not Walmart directly? But not 100% sure

Some stores you click pick up in store at checkout some say curb side.  
Be sure you have the right store located in Brandon.  
 
If you have issues with it not working phone the store.  
I have everyone was helpful .  
Was there a specific store - maybe someone could walk you thru it.

I don't know why, but I just had issues with their website. I believe I had to play with the filters to finally get it - make sure things are sold in store, sold by walmart, etc. As long as the item is available for pick up, it'll give you that option after you click check out.

Walmart is not doing curbside on non-essential items anymore. I tried and there are no options. I also heard if you search the item you are looking for, to search in the 'grocery' section. That should allow the curb side option.

Seems to be working for me right now. And we picked up some stuff a couple days ago. The grocery curbside works completely differently where you select a time to pick up. The regular/ non essential curb side doesn't have that option and you just select pickup as your shipping option and wait for an email.

Is still allowing curbside pickup of non essential items. I just ordered a clock and a lamp and both can be picked up with my grocery order as usual, curbside. I think both of those are in the blocked off, non essential, part of the store.  
 
The walmart site is glitchy. Sometimes it shows everything will be shipped to store, then you add some other item and the whole order is suddenly available for regular "grocery pickup". Sometimes what does not work now will work tonight. Sometimes I cannot order on one device but switch to another and everything is available.

Non essential items are available.  
 
there is a dedicated number for Brandon Walmart Curbside pickup.

I did have the phone number but can't locate it now.  
 
I think it is posted on the doors. Trying phoning customer service in Brandon to ask for phone #. or go to CS to ask if you are in the store for groceries.

Superstore is doing this. You can call them to set up a free curbside pickup only for non essential items. 204-729-4600 ext 147.  
 
Walmart website/ app let's you see if the item is in stock in store and gives you an estimated pick up date (delivery date). For example, the pillows i just ordered have an estimated delivery date of tomorrow for my curb side pick up order.

Last time I tried, I called Walmart and they told me they weren't doing non-essential curb pick up. Perhaps they have changed it once again! Would be nice for some consistency!

They are awesome you can go on there website and figure out what you want, call them, no minimum, set a time for pick up and then pay at pickup. was sooo easy!  
 
Saved me a lot of money on a Christmas gift and the worry of shipping and no shipping or pick up fee!

I went online got the item numbers and called in. They need the numbers on screen not just a des:cription so easier for them. They confirmed stock and called me back which was 5 min later. Very easy and fast pick up as I drove over right away. Paid at curb with machine. Super friendly as well.

I just did all my christmas shopping at Succulent City, everyone is getting plants in a cool planter from this year <:img src=:images/icon_smiley.gif>:. I think Succulent City posts all their items on facebook marketplace and on their facebook page, I sent them photos of the tropical plants and planters I wanted and they brought them out to me in my car when I went to pick it up. Great service! Highly recommend this place for all you crazy plant people!

Call 204-720-3586 between 10 and 6pm for non essential orders. As far as I know they are not answering or doing non essential outside of these hours. Just ordered from there yesterday. Called at 10am for order and I received call back before 11am that it was ready for pickup.

Any local stores doing curb-side for clothes. Tried MWWhouse but at check out said Brandon was not set up for curb side pick up for sales directly from that store.

I have had 2 great experiences with online/curbside shopping at Marks. Once you place your order you will get a confirmation email. Then wait for your email saying it is ready for pickup. Go to the designated spots for pick up and call the store. Also have the email ready to see on your phone and a piece of ID. They will check at your window and place in your car. # is 204-725-1508.

I just had a terrible experience with Walmart. Really relying on them for Christmas gifts and I chose my pickup time. Turns out apparently more than half my items were ‘not available’ and cancelled. I bought Walmart gift cards specifically to buy Christmas gifts and now I’m stuck with them. I really wish I had taken my money elsewhere because the couple other Curbside places I have used (Toymasters, Canadian tire and Michaels) was flawless and still felt valued as a customer. Now I don’t know what I should do to get these items (still saying available a day later in our local Walmart). Very frustrating. Not sure how it works but I’m hoping it’s not something like an employee can just say something is not available to avoid retrieving it. Now I’m reading about a number you have to call for non essentials?

Are you able to check stock at Portage or Dauphin Walmart and pickup there?  
 
If interested, you could also try to sell the Walmart gift cards? You might lose a little bit but better than nothing maybe?

Unfortunately my physical gift cards are all locked into ‘e gift cards’ now so I tried placing another order and they cancelled it again an hour before pickup. I called customer service about the ‘non essential’ phone number which I can’t get through to and they said ‘well guess you’re going to just need to keep trying’. Very upset and disheartening that that money I can only use online now and can’t seem to be able to actually order anything.

Try selling your gift cards on here and buying elsewhere.  
or maybe someone on here could help you out with your order - I have no experience dealing with Walmart so I wouldn't be able too .  
Does it say why your orders are cancelled??  
Check balances on your gift cards -  
Did you have to register your cards to your address like some gift cards like vanilla prepaid?  
If you did make sure you are using same info

I finally just called the Walmart CS in Brandon since the support for online was very unhelpful and just keep telling me to order again and it won’t happen again and the Manager said they have no control over what is cancelled and it’s all automated and to call the number for non essentials (which I for some reason cannot get through to) but even if I can get through and get the items they said they will not be able to accept the digital gift card (which I don’t think I could sell to someone) Too bad. Will know for the future not to utilize that option. Lesson learned for sure.

Tried a few times to do their curbside. Kept thinking maybe I was doing the error....but when dog food and cat litter is not available (of any kind because agreed to substitute) I gave up. All local and small businesses have been amazing! Even to the point of virtual tours of stores so I can pick items out. Support local!!!!!

Canadian tire has really good curbside pickup. Their website is easy to use and they are fairly quick to bring out your item after calling them. They recently just added text notification too so you don’t have to call.  
 
I’ve found home depot, walmart and michaels to be pretty bad. Home depot took more than 40 minutes to bring out the item. I would have just left and cancelled my order but when I called to ask what was taking so long they assured me they would be right out. Walmart’s website is confusing and hard to use. Their location of curbside pickup was unclear at first and they cancel a lot of items. Michaels is easy to place the order, as long as the items appear on website. They won’t sell items that aren’t even though you know they sell them. They close early too which isn’t convenient.

Curb side pickup is working better than expected as far as I can see. I’ve used Walmart, Canadian Tire, and Coop. All are exceptional service and user friendly sites. Good job to everyone though for trying to get us shoppers through an unprecedented event. Everyone deserves a hats off!

I placed 4 orders for curb side pickup on Saturday night and Sunday (yesterday) morning. We arrived in Brandon and in less than an hour we were on our way home with everything we ordered. Canadian Tire took awhile - they were obviously very busy and we just had to be patient. Staples, Home Depot, and Michaels were very quick and easy. Great way to shop during these times.
