Anyplace that carries a good stock of vertices, bamboo or wooden slat blinds in town or do you have to order?

but we bought a few window coverings from Budget Blinds in the past couple of years - they had to be ordered simply because window sizes vary from house to house but the coverings arrived quickly and their installation was excellent - would definitely recommend Budget Blinds - store is on Park Ave E near Richmond Av. We also had them measure the window sizes before ordering. They also replaced a cord on a large cellular/honeycomb blind within a day.

I've had the same issue with blind in Brandon. I ended up ordering from Select Blinds. Check out their website, they even mail out free samples of their products.

Select Blinds here too and nothing but good things to say. Home Depot had limited selection and the ones we wanted the machine to trim was broken with no timeline on a replacement. So we searched online and found Select. Ended up with better blinds and even at a cheaper price. Sent us several free samples and then we put in the measurements we needed and that was it. If you are going inside the window take off an 1/8 to 1/4" on each end to be safe but if you are mounting on the outside of the casing then not a problem

You can order any of their blinds online and they will just ship to your door. Any size. Takes a couple weeks. Ran into same issue with the machine to trim wasn’t working. Bali blinds thru Costco are also great blinds. Great prices.

I bought my last 3 window blinds thru Interior Images on Rosser, couldn't be happier with them, I tried a couple different cheaper options that just never worked good or looked all that great before, now I really like the look and they work smooth.
