Anyone in Westman that might work on something like this ? Seems crazy to pay 7 bills for this. "
That is the right price range and up for some of that stuff. Isn’t it ridiculous? I’ve been able to solder new wiring that was broken in a couple of shuttle levers for my tractors but some of that stuff is hard to get into without causing damage. Also some of those micro electronics are very finicky and you’ve got to be careful that you don’t cause damage to other electrical systems or create safety issues. I’ve also received a factory rebuilt unit that was faulty from the start. One advantage of buying from the dealer is that you get some parts warranty which I have benefitted from on a number of occasions.
