This happened in the Brandon Shoppers Mall.  
My Granddaughter is only 6 years old, and she does not understand that the Mall Santa is there to make money for the Photography Company who sponsors him. She does not understand why she had to stand to one side while all the other children go to see him because their mothers paid for a Photo. In the not too distant past every child got to sit on Santa’s knee in turn, and received a paint book, a candy cane, and got to whisper in his ear for the present they would like. Not this Santa, you have to get past the Christmas Grinch who takes the money for the picture, no picture no visit until no other kid is in line. If the Mall is promoting Santa to get parents in the Mall they should have two Santa’s, a Mall Santa for the children who believe in the Christmas tradition and one Santa who is photogenic. I think this is a disgrace.
