Wedding Invitations

We are planning our wedding in a couple months. Who did you use to make your wedding invitations? Where did you go to get them done? Did you do it yourself or use a program?

We are looking for inexpensive and simple....

We made our own because we also wanted inexpensive and simple.We bought card stock paper from Micheals and printed them at home. We used the 40% off coupons that come in the flyers to buy the card stock. This really helped cut down on the costs a lot! I looked for design inspiration from Google, Etsy and Pinterest.

I designed and made my own but I ordered other things off of Vistaprint! They do a great job and reasonable in cost!

We used a company in Winnipeg that prints on plantable paper. I thought it would be a neat idea for our spring wedding, but they were kind of expensive and in the end not many people realized they were plantable and those who did didn't get many flowers. So not worth it haha

There are often cheap diy invitation kits at michaels. I think even dollarama sells some.
Silly tip, but I ordered too many invitations because I thought "100 guests, 100 invitations. But duh, most were couples!

We got our invites from Vistaprint. They have flash sales on, so subscribe to their e-mails and order them when they have very good sales. We upgraded the paper (so they looked expensive), used their templates. I highly highly recommend. We had dance invites and supper invites, ordered about 125 invites total and spent about $50. Had them in our hands with little effort in about 10 days.

I ordered mine off the internet. I ordered a kit and printed it at home. I think I ordered it off weddingstar.com.

I used Vistaprint. Great prices and you get them in a timely manner. You can get rsvp's to match, address labels, everything. And it's decently priced.

have you thought using a program/app to do your invitation then send them over emails and mail those who do not have emails to cut down your costs.
Myself I wouldn't be offended receiving and wedding email invitation. After they do have birthday card internet invitation and some are really nice done.

My daughter makes beautiful cards. consider hand made a really nice touch.They can be inexpensive too. Checkout Dragonfly Desires on facebook, in the photo albums are some of her creations.

Antoher option Enchanted Moments Couture Stationery by Ruth Loewen. Very professional, sophisticated.
