My other half and I want to use some travel mugs to save us some cash rather than grabbing coffee while out. Mine tastes better, anyways. lol  
I've looked at Contigo mugs and love the push button idea. (I'm a clumsy spiller) But, I have seen some bad reviews as-well as great ones. I would like to hear what others have to say.  
Features I'd like to have, something easy opening/one hand opening, 20oz or more, stays hot for longer than 3/4 hours and will fit in my slightly larger than normal cup holders in my vehicle. Thanks for reviews!

the Contigo, they are the best. As for "push button", becomes second nature.  
 
Will stay hot for at least 4 hours. It will fit in your vehicle.

Contigo. The new ones have a top that can be opened up for cleaning. Stay hot forever, and don't leak. Stainless steel not the plastic ones.  
2 for $25 at Costco or one for $20+ at Canadian Tire

I have a couple Contigo mugs that I like but my old Thermos one with almost no paint left on it I still kinda prefer to the push button Contigo's

Contigo for sure. Stays hot 4-5 hours. Get the one with the sliding lock. They won't leak if you have it in your bag. I also have a Bubba that stays hot for that long but I really like the push button on Contigo

I got a couple of these for Christmas... LOVED THEM! Tea / coffee stays warm all day..  
 
However .. Recently, I started getting sore lips... They felt swollen, chapped, itchy... Found out I developed an allergy to the latex... Lips are healing, slowwwwly

Have just a "regular" s/s 16 oz Contigo travel mug. Carry green tea when travelling: stays warm a very long time (never timed it). Pd $14.99 @ Can Tire in 6-15. Has lifetime warranty so decided to try this brand. Fits in cup holders easily 'cause only 16 oz. Friend had some s/s water bottles (made in China of course)& paint peeled so warranty was important to me.

Definitely go with Contigo. They've changed the design inside so it's easy to clean everywhere. They're definitely worth it and do keep stuff hot! I recently bought their insulated cold one with a straw and it keeps it super cold for a very long time.

Has been a concern of mine. I use cream in my coffee and I worry that the lid won't come clean enough. I was considering investing in a Contigo as a replacement for my stainless steel Tim's mug that has seen better days. But wow, they are costly so wanted to be sure before I put out the money. I'll be watching this discussion for reviews. Maybe I'll be treating myself to a new mug for back to school!!

Stainless steel with screw on lid that is pretty thick not the thin lid. Has lever that opens and closes. Lid comes apart easy for cleaning. Keeps tea warm all day.

First world problems what mug do I need. Sorry had to say it.  
I once bought a cup from Tim houstens cheap and they hold everything warm for hours. Or like already mentioned get one of those stainless steel ones they are also good I had one from giant tiger that kept my coffee hot all day while I was working. There are also some that cost a bit more but you can plug them into the cigarette lighter thing and it actually heats it while pluged in very good for long drives. Both had those screw on lids with slide thingies to open/close it with one hand.
