Looking to buy a bedroom set.. Where's the best place to get one? Surplus is cheap but is the quality really bad? Also, is there usually good deals around Black Friday? Maybe I should wait

Is actually a lot of brand name stuff just maybe a few years older. I have bought a mattress set from them and love it. Mom got some ashley lamps and you can haggle a little for great prices!

We bought a set at Treehouse Furniture quite a few years ago, and we've been very pleased with it. They've moved a few times though, and are now in with Krevco I think.

Is all name brand stuff.. same stuff you'd get at Ashley or Leon's or Sears. Ive bought pretty much all my furniture from them. The staff are great there and they do help you out!  
 
Treehouse is no longer in Brandon actually. The only time you can see what they have is when they set up at a show or in the mall. We were looking for them as we wanted to buy a wooden bedroom suite.  
 
It all really depends what you want. IF you want good quality wooden bedroom suites, you almost have to go into Winnipeg now it seems.

Treehouse is only available at there retail store in Winnipeg now. They are no longer in Brandon at all in any capacity.

My bad... I thought they still had a showroom here! Looking at their website, it looks like they were recently purchased.  
 
If you're having to go into Winnipeg anyway, you might want to still check them out. Also, there's that Strictly Amish place in Winnipeg that has good-quality wood furniture. Not a clue what the prices are like, however.
