My mom found a drivers license and a gift card that belong to a young lady in winners parking lot. If it's yours please comment. Unfortunately no numbers in the phone book match.

Maybe a silly question but Manitoba driver's licenses have addresses on them... can your mom (or you) just drop it off at the person's home? When I found someone's license I figured that would be the easiest way to get it back to them.

Will try that tomorrow, unfortunately no time tonight and didn't want to leave the gift card if not at home. Appreciate the suggestions though. Plan is to take it to the police station in the AM.

A lot of people have posted some pretty good suggestions. If you are comfortable doing it, I would try the address on the license. A simple knock on the door and asking "Does a so-and-so live here?" If no one knows who you are talking about or the person isn't home to physically hand its over to them, take the license and GC to the Police Station. They may have better resources at tracking down the person. Good luck, especially right before the holidays.

That's awesome, just another suggestion would have been to go to an autopac agent....they could use the driver's license # to get the persons info and call them, police is probably the best choice though!
